White Rabbit

White Rabbit is the first chapter in the story of Parousia. This scent illustrates a story of following the voice within to destiny.

The scent of  White Rabbit is about following the voice in our hearts rather than in our heads. Comprised of 19 pure essential oils. Its voice of Tuberose is backed up by notes of Lavender and Vanilla balanced with Orange and held down by a base of Cypriol. We mix in a little white clay (moon powder) for color and top it with a carpet of crushed jasmine flowers. White Rabbit is our most popular scent and the sister of the more masculine Event Horizon.

The White Rabbit is Parousia’s power animal. A swift pure messenger who seems to have always been there guiding us forward into the Great Unknown. A modern day archetype. A cross between Neo’s,  Carrols, Dr. Gonzo’s and the white rabbit of Chinese mythology (did you know that ancient Chinese describes a white rabbit who mixes the elixir of immortality for the gods on the moon? This is what they saw instead of a “Man in the Moon”.)   This has always been one of our most popular scents for her, and it one of my personal favorites.  White Rabbit is available as a high quality natural perfume oil, as well as an artisan soap bar.

Lucid Dream

Lucid Dream is the first chapter in the story of Parousia. This scent illustrates the tale of a dream that began to become reality.

The scent of Lucid Dream is about waking up in the dream of reality.

It’s deep, dark notes of Oak Moss, Patchouli, Cypriol and Clove ground the lovely high notes of Sweet Orange and Plumeria. A layer of crushed rose petals on top lends its classic tone to this wonderful bar of soap that gives the feeling of being wide awake within a dream.

The scent was originally developed as an experiment to see if an olfactory response could trigger a lucid dream while sleeping.

As he designed the first Lucid Dream soap label the perfumer wore the scent to bed every night. One night as he spun around a strange tree, he gazed around and realized he was dreaming. Everything came into focus, became real.

Upon waking, the excitement of the experiment working was overshadowed by the powerful experience of the lucid dream itself and he was left with a message, a riddle and a lesson that would continue to evolve in the years after. It was there the path to Parousia was set.
