We’ve been getting a lot of inquiries about shampoo bars lately, so I thought I would share a few reasons why I believe our bar, Herb & Soil makes for an ideal shampoo bar.  Its the only bar I have used on my hair for the past 5 years. Its an all-in-one bar, no need for conditioner!  

WHAT MAKES OUR HERB & SOIL SHAMPOO BAR SO GREAT?

• THE PERFECT LATHER – Shampoo bars require a lot of lather to deeply penetrate all the way to your scalp.  Our Herb & Soil shampoo bar is made with our “goats milk recipe” which has tons of thick, luxurious lather.  For this recipe, we start with a base of olive oil, flaxseed oil, coconut oil, and shea butter – then add in fresh goats milk (usually milked the same day here at Old Factory!).
• THE PERFECT TOUCH – Its important to achieve the right blend of essential oils and natural plant essences for a shampoo bar – not all essential oils are great for hair.  We use a proprietary blend created in house with a house made juniper berry and tobacco tincture, along with patchouli essential oil.  This blend works wonders to soften and smooth hair – keeping it shiny and feeling great on your hands.  
• THE PERFECT AROMA – The blend mentioned above leaves your hair with a faint, yet beautifully earthy aroma.  Even those who don’t like patchouli, love this shampoo bar.
• EASY TO RINSE–  Its important to be able to quickly rinse out the soap, who wants to sit in the shower and rinse repeatedly?  This bar is quick to rinse.  
• COMPLETELY NATURAL– Just check the ingredients, this bar is completely natural. No chemicals, no synthetics, no colorants, no cheap oils like palm or sunflower – just pure, wholesome, high quality ingredients.
