The story of this bar begins many years ago, when a friend working in a kitchen asked us to make a hand soap for them. Because chefs have to wash their hands so many times a day, their hands always seem to dry out, especially with the soap provided in most commercial kitchens. We began with that one request, to make a moisturizing hand soap for the kitchen – but the product we developed turned into so much more then that. Today our Chef Soap is used for so many applications, its still a super moisturizing bar for hands, but you can use it for dishes, countertops, and just about anything else you would need soap for in the kitchen. Our chef soap is also rapidly becoming one of our best selling products (especially for repeat customers). Its based in our olive oil recipe – with ingredients as pure as ever. We list everything on our packaging.  Chef Soap Ingredients: organic olive oil, organic coconut oil, organic flaxseed oil, organic shea butters essential oils, organic ground coffee). The essential oils blend used (see below), is specific to getting a deep clean in the kitchen – and offers a nice fresh scent as a bonus.

A bar soap for dishes?

You must be crazy! Yes, we’ve gotten that a lot…but once you make the switch its just as easy, your dishes rinse clean, and your hands rinse easy.  The bar lasts for quite a long time! Just put a little dish next to your sink, set the soap in it, and rub your sponge on it when you are ready to do dishes.  The water collected in the dish is fine, its just liquid soap.

The scent

We knew that a chef soap would need a nice strong clean, the scent comes from powerful essential oils that help in the washing process. This bar of chef soap features a crisp, fleeting scent of red thyme, lemongrass, cinnamon, peppermint, tea tree, lavender, and coriander.  Essential oils that create not only create a beautiful kitchen aroma, but also provide the deep clean you are looking for.
